On the apparition of 13th July, Our Lady shows Hell to the three little shepherds who were very frightened:

« A ray of light seemed to pierce the earth and we saw what looked like a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised in the air by the flames that issued from within them together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in a huge fire, without weight or equilibrium, and amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repulsive likeness to strange and frightful beasts, at once black and transparent like glowing coals… We then looked up at Our Lady, who said to us so kindly and so sadly: ‘You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish a devotion in the world to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace in the world.»

(Memories of Sister Lucia I; page 176/177)

It is very touching the mediation about Hell made by Jacinta:

«Jacinta continued seated on her rock with a thoughtful face and asked:

«That Lady also said that many soul would go to hell. And what is Hell?

“It is a hole of insects and a very big fire (my mother explained it to me like this) and it goes there people who sin and do not confess and, they always stay there burning.”

“And never leave there?”

“And after many, many years?!”

“No, hell never ends. And Heaven either. The people that goes to Heaven never leave. And who goes to hell does not leave too. Don’t you see they are eternal, they never end?

Then, for the first time, we did our meditation of hell and eternity. What most impressed Jacinta was eternity.

Even playing, from time to time, she would ask:

“But, look. So, after many, many years Hell does not end?”

Other times:

“And those people, who were there burning don’t die? And do not make ashes? And if we pray a lot for the sinners, Our Lord deliver us from there? And also with sacrifices? Poor them!

We shall pray and make a lot of sacrifices for them!”

She then adds:

“How good is that Lady! She already promised to take us to Heaven!”»

“The vision of Hell”, of Salvador Dali.

As a soul victim (to save the souls), Alexandrina feels in her, a feeling of someone who condemns herself to hell:

« Losing God is an irreparable loss. If in the middle of hell’s nuisances I could see and love God, I would no longer be Hell. I lost everything, all the gifts and blessings received, all the good deeds and prayers, all the Holy Spirit light and saints inspirations, all of God’s greatness: I can’t see anything, I don’t have anything.  Even without trying, these are my soul sorrows. I don’t know how to describe my distress, it is desperate.  What sadness and darkness! Nothing comforts it. If I could feel God again, if I could see him! But, alas, never more!

What was a long life on Earth for? To take nothing from it. All lost. I do not see that greatness from God, but I feel it in the middle of my eternal torments in order to feel more His horrors and the weight of His Divine Justice. »

 (Feelings of the Soul; 19/08/1945)

Jesus to Alexandrina:

«Repair, repair, do not let them fall into hell. I expected love; I had the right of all the love but, oh it was the opposite. Lighted hatred, after shredding all the veins from the Body and opening My Heart, they expelled me from their hearts. »

 (Feelings of the Soul; 24/06/1955)

Jesus to Alexandrina:

«"The sinners, the souls, the world makes me demand from you this repair. Courage! Courage! It is so that the souls do not fall into hell.”

“Oh hell, oh hell, oh Jesus, how tremendous is hell!  I can’t think that the souls get lost. I can’t consent that the souls fall into hell, I can’t know that Your Divine Blood was shed uselessly."»

 (Feelings of the Soul; 23/04/1954)

Jesus to Alexandrina:

«My daughter, my daughter, I am the Lord. I give you my life. My daughter, My daughter, it is very sad my pain. I see the world, I see a lost world rushing for the abyss. I see the mad souls, mad running to Satan, condemning themselves to hell, losing themselves for eternity. My Heart of God, can’t stop suffering, my Father’s Heart. I gave Blood, I gave Life. I opened Heaven, I opened Heaven, My House. I offered it to you, I offered it to all Humanity. Poor children! Poor children! They waste My Blood! They decline my offer. They do not want Heaven but Hell. They prefer Satan.»
